Since I was young, Lisbon has been my home and my inspiration. I grew up in a traditional neighborhood and, over the years, I’ve walked every street and every viewpoint, getting to know the city the way one knows an old friend.
My tours celebrate this intimate connection with the city: they are not just walks, but experiences of sharing, human rhythm, and discovery. Each walk adapts to those who join me, to what they want to feel, hear, and experience. With me, Lisbon stops being just a map and becomes a story written with every step.

My name is Amândio, I am a true “alfacinha” (Lisbon native) and I have a deep love for Lisbon. I know this city like the back of my hand — from its most hidden corners to the stories and legends that make it unique. As a passionate guide to Lisbon, my goal is to provide you with a different experience, where each tour will be an unforgettable journey through the culture, the popular neighborhoods, and the best-kept secrets of the City of Seven Hills.

I always start my tours with the phrase “as history tells, as the legend goes,” because I believe that legends are the key to true history. Throughout the walks, I share with you the most intriguing narratives of Lisbon, while we explore together historic neighborhoods like Alfama, Mouraria, Bairro Alto, or Bica, where I was born.
